FAQ
Can I download GTA 6 mods yet?
There are no downloads on 6mods yet. We’re preparing the site for PC mods and publishing useful information in the meantime.
Has GTA 6 been announced for PC?
At our check on 25 October 2026, Rockstar lists GTA VI for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. It does not list a PC release date. See the PC status page for details.
Will GTA 6 support mods?
That has not been confirmed in the official sources checked. A PC release would not, by itself, confirm mod support or compatibility with a particular tool.
Will GTA 5 mods work in GTA 6?
Do not assume they will. Mods and tools need to support the exact game and build. A GTA V mod inspired by GTA VI is still a GTA V mod.
Does FiveM support GTA 6?
At our latest check, FiveM lists GTA V and GTA V Enhanced. That does not establish GTA VI support.
Are there PC system requirements?
Rockstar has not published GTA VI PC requirements in the sources checked. The PC status page separates confirmed information from estimates.
Which modding tools will I need?
There is no confirmed tool list yet. A tool author needs to state that their release supports GTA VI before it can be treated as compatible. See the modding tools guide.
How can I check a mod download?
Start with the original author, the supported game and build, and the installation instructions. Read the download checklist before opening unfamiliar files.
Is 6mods an official Rockstar site?
No. 6mods is independent and is not affiliated with Rockstar Games or Take-Two Interactive.
